Croque Monsieur

The croque-monsieur is a classic in the brasseries. But beyond the recipe for croque monsieur original, with its ham and grated cheese, there are a multitude of variations to prepare a croque monsieur. It can be garnished with vegetables, fish or even chocolate, it is always a simple warm sandwich, quick to prepare and tasty sandwich.




Ingredients



8 slices of bread
8 slices Emmenthal cheese
100g grated cheese
2 large slices of ham
50g butter
Pepper, nutmeg
4 tablespoons milk

Elaboration


Cut ham slices to the same size as the bread and do the same with the slices of Emmental.
Butter the bread slices. On the slice of bread, place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese. Add pepper between each slice.

Place the last slice of bread and butter it. In a bowl, mix the milk and grated cheese, sprinkle with nutmeg. Spread on grilled sandwiches.

Place them on a hot plate in an oven at 220 ° C (th7-8). Let them brown 10 minutes, serve with a salad.
